Did a clean install of new version of AIS

Outlook 2016 will still not accept add-ins for Spam and the icons are not showing in ribbon.

Thought this new version took care of this add-ins issue.

For other security software, internet security includes webcam security!
This is not the case for you!
But that would be a fundamental defense!

Hi guys i found a bug in avast network scan. I was running the network scan so i can name all my devices so that they do not get confusing and i can see which device is what. But upon clicking on the device and selecting edit to choose what the device corresponds to within the menu list, to my supprise the menu is broken to the point where the entire list is white and only hightlights a device when scrolling down. Please look at the image thank you.

My free license is expired, and cannot renew my contract.

When I click the "continue the subscription", it shows the product select wizard. And then it says "thanks for activate the product" and the Internet security promotion screen. If I close the window, the product still stay the unprotected and expired status. If I choose to update button, I have to pay for the upgrade product  :'(

I have reinstall the product, the same happened.

Any one who encountered the same and solved this problem?

I once updated to the latest version. Some bug or application lag forced me back to Avast 2015. And I never had to worry about anything. Its fast, hassle free and without any bugs. I only use File Shield and Web Shield  (the two most important features for safe browsing) and aboslutely nothing else. Never caught a virus once. Thanks avast.

But, just out of curiosity, am I missing anything usefull since I didn't update to the latest version? Please note, I only care about File Shield and Web Shield (and few things like boot scan, removable media scan, and most useful of the feature; the statistics window for real time data)

Regarding scan history, are we all still waiting to get our scan times back (still saying a few seconds), or is it just me?  Not seeing or hearing anything.

hi avast team,

the new update 18.2.2328 blocking standby /hibernate mode on my Win XP SP3
<snip>

Not finding that on this desktop XP Pro SP3 system.

How are you entering Standby ?
I tend to use a ZZ key on my keyboard to have the system go to sleep, which works just fine. I have just tested it using the Start button > Turn Off Computer option and then the Stand By button and that too works just fine.

My Avast Pro Antivirus engine is updated to 18.2.2328 build 18.2.2327.307 released on March 1st 2018, but Outlook 2010 still crashes when I start it due to Avast Outlook plugin. It has been several months since this bug came alive and new releases came out, but the addin/plugin is still crashing Outlook 2010 client on Windows 10.  >:( >:( >:(

I run Outlook 2010 on Windows 10 and have never had any problems. The Avast Outlook plugin has never crashed for me either.

Have you tried an Outlook repair?
Have you tried removing the plugin manually from Outlook, removing the Mail Shield and then re-installing Mail Shield again?
