Locking apps incorrect pin

Hello,

I have Avast on several Android devices.
I have started using app locking.
It seems there is a problem with the pin, as it becomes wrong on some device after I set it on another.
It asks for pin and says it is incorrect, I reset it and then won't work on another device and so on.
Please help.

Hi, that is a really strange issue, as there is no PIN sync (your PIN is not saved online), and technically there is no way the apps could share the PIN.

However, if you use Anti-Theft, you can change your PIN from your My Avast account, which will also change PIN for App Locking. Maybe that is how it happened? Have you ever changed PIN in the My Avast account?

Hi, I have anti-theft.
When this occurred for the first time, I asked to change the pin in order to reset it, so it went offline from the mobile phone. Probably that happened. Still, it becomes invalid on the other device when I change it on one.

Could you please describe in more detail how you changed the PIN, so that we can try to reproduce it on our side?
We also need to know

- manufacturer and type of your device
- Android version
- the Avast app version
- whether or not you use any custom ROM
