Screens keep popping up, interfering with my work

I work online, and the large Avast screens pop up for all sorts of things and cover what I'm working on. Is there any way to minimize them so they don't cover my screen? I was fine with the little update notice that popped up in the bottom right corner, but this latest update makes it impossible to change. I've looked through all the settings, and can't find anything. TIA

You don't say what avast version you are using  ?

If you are using a paid option of Avast, AIS, Premier, etc. then you should be able to switch them off.  AvastUI > Settings > General > Popups - uncheck the 'Show popup offers for other Avast products.'
