How to select programs I don't want disabled?
« on: March 13, 2018, 09:28:23 AM »
Hello!
I did a scan with Avast Cleanup and it gave me a list of programs that obviously are slowing down my system.
However, I need some of them. For example, I really don't want to disable my Wacom tablet software or Dropbox, I need those for my daily work.
How can I tell Avast which of the programs in the list I want to keep?

Hi Sabi,

Thank you for your question.

Cleanup just gives you a list of programs and it is totally up to you to select which one of them you want to disable (put to sleep).
You can easily do that by pressing the 'Sleep' button associated to a particular program.
The rest of the list you don't want to put to sleep you can either leave it as is without any action performed or you can click ignore and the programs will be put into the ignore list in order to not bother you anymore.
Programs in ignore list are left completely untouched by the Cleanup application.

Best regards!
