Does scan check all users
« on: March 16, 2018, 12:06:58 AM »
I am new to Mac.  I have different users set up and those users files are not visible under my username.  When I run a scan, do the "hidden" files of other users also get scanned?  What about malware?  Are all users protected even though AVAST was installed under my username?

I hope this makes sense, thanks in advance.

Hi Patrick,

All users are protected, the Shields will be running when they login to the computer. However, when you run a manual scan, you may not be able to scan all the files in their home/user folder depending on the permissions.
