While this is an old topic, I have been researching this same issue as I have just found the same kind of charge in my account. I sent a support message because I am unhappy with this. I had no account with avast or anything and have no record of ever even giving my information to avast. Time has passed since this charge and I looked into banking record because there were some numbers no adding up. Looking for help as well if this thread is of any help as I see someone has helped here. Other threads show those involved in heated debates about the subject, but this is not something I want to argue about. Simply looking for help on the matter and looking for a refund. I made this account just to be able to take place in the forums as well as submit a report. This charge is unidentifiable from the source as I have never received an email from avast in any way, shape, or form nor do I have avast software installed on my devices. Very concerning. Please help if able at all.
