Update: I have received a confirmation email of my refund notifying me that the refund will take 5-7 days to be processed. I'll update again when the money is back in my account next week. Again, thanks a lot for paying attention to my request here on this forum.

This is 9th of April 2020, 12 days from the confirmation of my refund on 27th March 2020. I'm very concerned because I haven't received the refund to my bank account, also no notification of refund from any distributor has been sent to me as promised. Below is my inquiry to follow up the email chain 12 days ago. Someone in the team please look into this to make sure there is no accident or mishandling in the refund process:

_ Have my refund been processed?
_ If yes, when is the latest date for it to be in my bank account? A specific date would be much appreciated.
_ Can you please send me some proof of the refund transferred to my bank account once it has been processed? That'd be much appreciated.

I have sent you a PM. I can see that the refund was processed for the amount of 79.99 USD for Avast Secureline VPN (5 devices)

 I have just checked my bank statement for the VISA card xxx ending for the period since 10th March till now. The refund is not on the bank statement. You can view the extracted bank statement here

Please contact Digital River and request them to kindly resend the refund confirmation to my email
Could you also give me the detail of the date and time of the transaction as well as the transaction number from Digital River end? That'd help me in my inquiry to my bank on why the refund amount hasn't appeared in my account yet.

Hi,

You signed up for a two month trial of Avast Premium Security (which has been converted to a 1-year subscription after the trial period) using your Comcast address, not the Gmail you contacted us on.
There is no orders under the Gmail and only the 1 order under the Comcast address. Do you want a refund for that order?

I received an email from Paypal saying I paid 79.99 in favor of Digital River. "PAYPAL * DIGITALRIVE AVA". It seems Avast, through Paypal, renew my subscription for Premium?!?! 79.99 ?! I wrote to Avast but I think they will say I did not cancel automatic renewal.

is there a way to recover my money or is my bank capable of doing anything? ths

Okay all in hand .Reported the matter to my bank .They will reveres the transaction ,blacklist the "perpetrator" for future transactions country wide and the bank has opened a fraud case with the SA Police . This type of transaction does not happen by mistake

It happened most likely because you signed up for auto renewal.
Uninstalling or stooping the use of the produce doesn't cancel auto renewal. It isn't fraud,
it's lack of follow through on your part for not cancelling the auto renewal.

The same happened to me few days ago! I got charged $100 by DRI*AVAST/ Software and there was NO renewal due and NO warning and NO reciept to explain what I was charged for.
I feel cheated by Avast!!

I did what has been suggested here by contacting in the form a few times and order id 00000000 but there is no reply!!

Did anyone get Avast team to reply back? Pleas advice how to proceed!

First posting multiple tickets could actually delay any response as they are dealt with in a FIFO (First In First Out) order this could set you to the back of the order.  Or they could consider duplicated as spam and be removed.

In your support ticket it is important to use the same email address related to your order or they would be unable to find your order.

The most common reasons for non receipt of a renewal notice email are:
Email in the Spam folder of your email provider or email program.
Typo in the email resulting in non-receipt.
The email address is no longer in use.

Not only do people get email responses, but in many cases they have also got an Avast Team member response, which you can see two in this very topic.
