I have not received an email confirmation from yourselves so as you will know I am unable to enter any confirmation number in the "Refund Form".  I feel I have been ripped off I am so disappointed with Avast Antivirus, it doesn't do what you claim it does.  Since purchasing it on the 14th Oct (5 days ago) I have had nothing but trouble using it.  Your product was one mentioned on Martin Lewis's Money Saving Expert website so I purchased as I thought with a little more confidence.  So I wish to receive a refund as soon as possible.  Have you noticed your "Verification" letters below are unclear.

I've got this exact same problem. Charged £49.99 for something I never purchased with no indication as to why, no email or anything. I've emailed for help this morning and received no reply with the methods stated in this thread, any indication as to how long it takes for them to respond?

Be patient, a refund can take up to 10 business days. Note, don't submit multiple tickets (FIFO).

Except there hasn't been any response to indicate that I'm getting any kind of refund, I receive an email for more information same one someone else posted in this thread, i give said  information and then I get no further replies.

I got the same problem here to, it charged me for AUD89.99 and AUD 109.99 and I didn’t purchased any of it, I didn’t have any email or just suddenly charged from my bank accounts, plus I don have register any avast account until I got charger for those amount then register this account, I can’t continue with the refund because I don have any email confirmation or  purchase code which I cannot do the refund at all, I hope avast will replied the message and refund me as soon as possible

Hi,

I can see that support replied to your case/ticket 12494444 (the others were closed as duplicate) and informed you that your refund request has been processed.
You signed up for a subscription that auto-renewed, with an email address which seemed to have had a typo in it (the letterj was missing compared to your current email address).
Please note that in general, it takes approximately 7 business days to receive the funds into your PayPal/credit/bank account.

I have been charged today 84.89USD by avast./com/ord/IE for DRI*Avast Software which I never ever ordered. I`ve filled in the refund form, received request number 13965037. And soon with another e-mail I`ve been informed that avast are unable to locate the order... Avast illegally charged the amount from my card which I haven`t even notified, moreover for the product which iI didn`t buy. I demand to refund my money immediately! Copy of bank statement was included in refund form.

Your order could not be located because the information you provided (the email and the order number) is not in our system. Please reply to the email you received from support and include the requested details (that is not visible in the screenshot). Once we receive the additional information, we will be able to locate and process your refund.

And that`s because, first of all, I haven`t ordered anything (from AVAST) & secondly I haven`t asked/agreed/allowed/enabled somebody (in this case AVAST) to charge my card, details of which I haven`t even provided. As I wrote earlier, based on my bank information I can affirm, that the amount of 84.69USD(equivalent of 73.34EUR) was charged by avast./com/ord/ie/912757. And let me repeat once again, I have no additional information which could be provided apart of what is stated above. I shouldn`t be investigating that, you have to do that and refund me total amount (which have been charged absolutely illegally) with reference to my request. If AVAST can`t adequately state why I got charged by AVAST, then who can?

That seems incomplete as it would normally include an Order ID.  Which might be the one in your post above.

How did you find out about this, e.g. did you get an Email from Digital River who handled the transaction (as that is the usual practice) ?
Or was it only from your bank.

Was the email the same as the one you used to sign-up for the forum ?

As an avast user there isn't much I can do directly, but try and gather more information for when r@vast (Avast Team Member) gets back to the topic.

Thank you for the screenshot of your bank statement but it, unfortunately, did not contain all the information we requested (e.g address etc.) Please compare the bank statement with the information we requested. Once we receive the information from you, we will be able to locate your order and provide you with a refund. Please let me know once you have submitted the additional information and I will escalate your refund request.
