How do you remove/uninstall Avast!!!

I have tried everything to remove Avast free from my computer.  I have windows 10 and have tried to remove it through the Apps and Features menu.  I have tried the Avast removal tool. The removal tool screen will come up with the white bar going back and forth. I have tried to delete the folder but I don't have "permission" to do that. I have tried IObit uninstaller and it locks up shortly after trying to remove.  Can anyone please help?

Well normal way to remove Avast if desired is Add/Remove Programs/Programs & Features,  Click Avast, Uninstall, (make sure disabled in the GUI first the Self Defense), then after removing from Add/Remove area, then restart, then run the Avast clear, select yes to reboot into Safe mode,  run that in there, selecting Avast Free, Premier, or Internet Security, then when it finishes, restart again
