Not if they have XP SP2, the final supported version of avast for XP requires SP3, some of those posting don't have that.

my free licence expired on 1.6.19 and i unaible to renew because my winxp is sp2
and now the new version is sp3 support only.
how can i re-register to the old version?

Same problem as Neris.

First, I would like to thank Avast team for their work for maintaining the compatibility with win XP for so many years. I Hope there's a solution.

My system : Win xp 32 bits, SP2, Avast version 2015.10.2.2215.

Im using 2014.9.0.2021 Avast Free Antivirus version (190603-2 virus definitions version) on Windows SP3, my registration has expired and i cant renew it.

Any License Key available for this Version, or should i Uninstall Avast and install last version? I preferred use this old version, its a very, very old PC. W11332244H9900A0420-8MRTR8W5 does not work.

Im able to update Virus Signature, not able to update Avast to 2015.10.3.2021 though. I get a server Error.

Avast interface show that "A new version of the program (2015.10.3.2021) is available!" I try update with no success.
My main problem is obviously the subscription expiration. No clue what to do.

Would be the best choice to get rid of all that old stuff. But I'm not sure, if you'll succeed with SP2.

Not an issue on my XP system, but for a couple of posters in this topic unfortunately they have XP SP2.

Hello,

Has the universal license key problem been corrected?
I read earlier in the forums that it would be looked into.

I am using a old computer with  Windows XP SP3. 
My registration was expired and was extended for 90 days.  After the 90 days will it self register again?

Upgrading to version 17.9 would not work with my computer.
