moving updates updates to a non-internet PC ?
« on: June 18, 2006, 12:52:03 AM »
Hi

I will be getting a new PC tomorrow - with Windows XP 64 bit.

I noticed that Avast is the only AV software to support 64 bit.

As I am not going to connect it to the internet - Is there a way to copy updated virus data files to the non-Internet Pc ?

this is an important issue for me to know and decide wether I can use Avast on my new PC (the current PC uses mcafee)

Thx

NIR

Don't do that... you'll mess your installation.
Download the file as mauserme told and run it in the new computer  :)
