How can I turn off the ad blocker in Avast
« on: March 21, 2018, 08:53:45 AM »
Since a short while I cannot access most of the german news sites as spiegel.de, faz.de etc. There is always a pop up which tells me that I have to disable the adblocker. This happens across all browsers chrome and edge.. . I have no additional add ins installed. So the hint of the pop ups to click the the sign next to the URL space fails for me. If this is not browser specific the reason needs to be somehow related to my internet security suit from AVAST.
It would be great if someone can help here.

Best Sven

Hi Asyn, thx for the quick reply. I had a view into in and followed the instructions. I went into the change modus of my avast installation and realized that the browser extension for security is not switched on. I also have no green spot in the browser.. Any idea what else might cause these issues?

If AOS is not installed, it's not related to Avast then.
