Del is not the only one to do this, 90% of pc sellers/makers adds lots of pre-installed software.....

But if the script remove all craps, why doesn't it remove windows?  ;D ;D

I bought a low spec P4 desktop from Dell a couple years ago and it was full of cr*p that took about 45mins to uninstall.  It was good value though and has worked faultlessly for years now.  Biggest annoyance is the poxy motherboard which makes it impossible to upgrade significantly.

Almost all "name brand" computers come with motherboards that are less than desirable when it comes to doing upgrades. The same can be true of other components such a power supplies, video cards, etc.

The best bet is to have a computer custom made if you plan on doing upgrades at a later date. You should always do research on the parts you want in a new computer. There several places that make custom made computers at a reasonable price ... many times at a better price than a comparable computer by a "name brand" manufacturer.

two ways to avoid the Junk on a new Computer.

1) Build it yourself - You have control what goes on it
2) Forget PCs altogether and get a Mac (best option ;D)
