For the last 4 or 5 days Avast Free Antivirus throws up a notification (See Attachment) whenever I open a UBS website.
The notification always comes whichever website I open - ubs.com, ubs.com/uk, ubs.com/ch, ubs.com/de etc.
Whichever browser I use - Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome or Avast Safe Zone - the notification always appears.
Avast Free Antivirus is up-to-date, Windows 10 is up-to-date.
Malawarebytes and Super Anti Spyware are up-to-date.
I have run Avast Full Virus Scan and Avast Boot Time Scan. Nothing found Zero.
I have run Malawarebytes and Super Anti Spyware scans. Nothing found Zero.
I have run a Windows Defender (up-to-date) scan. Nothing found. Zero.
The PC appears to be perfectly clean.
When I first open a UBS website the notification (see Attachment) always appears.
But afterwards I can access/open all pages/menus etc within the UBS website without the notification appearing again.
Is there any danger opening pages/menus etc within the UBS website?
The „Threat is Secured“ and *connection on ubs.demdex.net is aborted“.
The notification does NOT appear with any other websites that I use regularly.
Is demdex.net some type of cookie or information collector that is trying to collect information?
I would be grateful for any help and advice.
