Last night I checked my settings and my sandbox isn't greyed out so it seems fine on that end. Still dealing with the one shield disabled.  :'(

I did read this thread before I update my Avast. Before the update, it says the shields are all on. But after I updated to the latest 18.3.2333 version. It shows 1 disabled.

Behavior Shield does not always come up enabled on cold boot on my XP PRO SP3 computer. It is running a P4 at 1.8Ghz and 2GB of RAM ... I need to enable it manually. Works fine on my Windows 10 Home 64 Bit Build 1709 Laptop
Dell Dimension 8200 P4 1.8Ghz Windows XP PRO SP3
Avast Free Antivirus 18.8.2356
Toshiba Satellite C855-S5347 Celeron B830 1.8Ghz
Windows 10 Home 64 Bit Version 1909 Build 18363.900
Avast Free Antivirus 20.4.2410 Build 20.4.5312.578

I'm posting this on the Developers channel.
Hopefully Avast can give us an answer tomorrow.

Avast has acknowledged the problem and they are working on a fix.

Last advice April 12th - with assurances of Avast "working on it" .......

It's now the 18th May ........ I still have this annoying niggling glitch of 1 shield disabled, yet 4 shields showing active on main Avast dashboard.
Like others have reported, when I click on "enable all" I see that two!!?? shields are reported as disabled - yet, again, all 4 shields on my dashboard show as active?

Any news/updates from "those in the know"?

I'm using Windows 10 btw

This bug is scheduled to be fixed in the next Avast version (v18.5). This stable release for v18.5 is a few weeks away and is yet to reach BETA.
