Avast online account not recognizing my device

I have Avast installed on my PC (current and recently updated), but it's not showing up on the list when I log into my account online. If I click "Add another device," it wants me to download Avast, which is dumb, since I already have it installed and functional. Any hint how to correct this?

Are you signed into your account via the User Interface on that device ???
