Noticed the usual Avast icon was missing so rebooted and still not starting (no processes associated with Avast in taskmgr either).
Unable to reinstall or uninstall using Control Panel or the Avast Uninstaller.
No error messages are being displayed so I cannot determine the issue. It is supposed to be running 18.3.2333 which I think installed yesterday.
Running WinXP SP3 (for a good reason, but that is not the issue here!)
