JS:ScriptPE-inf[Trj] from youtube
« on: April 19, 2018, 09:52:40 AM »
A few hours ago while i was browsing youtube, a random Avast Error popped up and it says:
"We've safely aborted connection on youtube.com because it was infected with JS:ScriptPE-inf[Trj]"

I'm 100% sure youtube doesn't give me a virus so i thought it was a virus from my PC. I was really paranoid and i scanned my PC with Malwarebtyes, Avast, Emsisoft. Nothing came up.

I tried to retrace my steps by searching the same thing and it popped up again.

I'm just wondering if it was a false positive or do i actually have a virus. Is there anyway to check it?

Sounds like an infected ad on YT, as Avast blocked it, you should be safe.
