Avast uses your searches to display relevant ads.

What are the odds of this avast message popping up about 30 seconds after I searched this...?



I know it likely says somewhere in the agreement they reserve the right to do this, it is the free version after all. Just thought this was interesting and a bit creepy.

It seems for that specific video, Windows 10 is likely picking up his mic and using to display those ads. There are all sorts of privacy settings to do with this in Windows 10. Tested it myself and didn't get those results, likely because I have any creepy shit in Windows 10 off. My mic is always off when I'm not using it regardless though.
