cant sync as lost original master password

Hi
I originally authorized my PC last year but then the hard drive died and I had to reinstall avast.
now I want to sync my phone but i don't have the original master password as i had to create a new one but didn't get a new "my backup" email

Can i reset the sync without losing all my saved passwords

I'm affraid the answer no. I can't see the way how to get passwords from sychnronization without authorized device or backup email. If you have backup email note that password required is the master password you have set on your laptop at the time you have turned on synchronization for the first time (before you disk died)

Is there anyway of resetting the password component?

I've realized i can export my passwords so if i reset i can just import them and then set up sync again.
