Still have to update via downloading standalone version. From v.65 to v. 66
Processing the "About" option to update "Still" doesn't function.
IMO very slow at something simple. :-\

I also think they are slow updating.

How do you check for the latest version.
I download the stand alone installer, then right click open properties and check File version to see if it has been updated. :(

You need to check it in the Browser Settings - Help and About

Thanks bob3160 :)
I know how to check for latest version through Help and about, but the online updating is not working.

What I meant was how do I know what the latest version is. As at this stage you have to use the standalone installer.

I personally use a software update monitor (Sumo) which lets me know what (all)software I have installed and shows me what  needs updating along with what the latest version available of that particular software installation. Thats what informs me that ASB version is out of date. :)

Annoyingly, one can also intermittently check download and inspect downloaded version file before installing.

Sumo is telling you that Secure Browser is out of date Compared to the latest steady Chrome release.
My question is did Sumo actually tell you that there was a new release available for the Secure Browser when it was released ???

If I understand your question, I suppose so. I really don't keep track of specific time.
I simply run the (Sumo) software a couple of times a week and if the ASB version I'm on is out of date Sumo shows the latest version. I then download from standalone sight to get updated version.
I personally don't have installed/ use Google Chrome
Not sure if That answers your query. :)
