Having eventually loaded Avast on my computer, I then loaded on my wife's. However with Avast icon on desktop, even starting up is erratic, to such an extent that on the occasions I am able to boot up and get to desktop, any selection made has a permanent timer until I have to force a shutdown. The point is I have uninstalled her last antivirus so now have none, and am not able to uninstall copy of Avast to reinstall as an option. Any urgent help would be appreciated.
