What does this mean?
« on: May 07, 2018, 05:51:03 PM »
https://id.avast.com/@routes.UnsupportedClientPage.noJs()

I can't log on with Firefox anymore.  The loading circle has been spinning for at least 4 hours

No problem logging on with the Edge Browser.

The id.avast.com is what your logon to my.avast.com is validated against.

What would have been helpful is describing what you were actually doing to get this inability.

I have no problem in logging on to my.avast.com using firefox.

All I was doing was trying to log in with Firefox.  I never had a problem until today.

Presumable you mean logon to the forums, as that logon would be validated against id.avast.com.  Occasionally you can have a problem connecting, I never log out and I can come right back in to the forums.  However, if you switch your system off at night then you would need to logon.

Try logging on to my.avast.com first, then go to the forums and you should be recognised.

I never log out either. My computer is always on except when I have to restart it but even then I never had to log in. I tried logging on to my.avast.com but I get the same error message.

It is just somewhat strange that if fails when using firefox, but not when using chrome.  I have no issue connecting with firefox.

You might try clearing your browser cache and cookies.

Try clicking History and then 'Clear Recent History'.  Select what you think you need to remove.

Option:  https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Safe+Mode if clearing out browser cache and cookies does not work for you.

Hi!

Try to login (instead of https://id.avast.com ...) with https://forum.avast.com/, after that you should go to and click on 'Login' at the top of the open forum.

Interesting. As I only use FF esr (like Asyn) on all of my machines (see my sig), it works for me very well.

That really is using a sledge hammer to crack a nut, clearing the browser cache/history and cookies really should have been enough.

You could have simply used the direct link as suggested

Concerning the forum login with 'https://id.avast.com...', since a couple of days I had to use the other link (https://forum.avast.com) for several times I got after long time the message 'Server not corresponding, try later'!
But every time I didn't wait, tried the 2nd link and succeeded! What's going on there?
