UI Bug:
The Upgrade button in the UI main page is active, but the rest of the Upgrade actions if you happened to click on it are screwed up, there is no graceful way to say 'No Thanks' it is push, push to purchase Avast Internet Security or at the very least take the Trial.

Sorry Bob, first I was testing this because of the topic I gave the link too, I wasn't trying to do anything.

But this is a bloody mess the Button that should be used in response to 'Select your security level' if you don't want or need AIS is the 'Your current free protection' it doesn't work. 

By killing the window/s 'no selection has been made' and that dirty great UPGRADE button remains on the UI.

As you have AIS you can hide ads via Settings -> General -> Privacy.

Hotfix for UI falied to load is already out. Reboot of machine is required. If you want to know, if it is already applied, go to registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\AVAST Software\Avast\micropupdates and look for number 356=?

Repair Avast:
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed

Just installed Avast v.18.4.2338 free edition.

When I perform a Smart Scan, it is checking for Sensitive Data, which is a paid module that I have not paid for.

This problem occurred a while back in v.17.8.2318 and I was advised I could change this behaviour in:
Settings >> General >> Smart Scan, but the Sensitive Data option is not available here, so I cannot turn it off.

Please can someone advise on how to turn off the Sensitive Data check in Smart Scan?
