I am a paid user with Program version 18.4.2338 (build 18.4.3895.0) on Windows 10 home.
When opening bank mode I always use the taskbar icon, right click, open bank mode. (Why is this option not available on the user interface?) I have been using it this way since I signed up with Avast. The last time I ran bank mode was approximately 1 month ago, with no problems. Now when I try to run it, the background window appears, but no browser. I've tried all the icons along the bottom of the window, and all it does is freeze the program (not-responding). At this point, even windows task manager fails to close it. I am forced to restart.
As an alternate, I decided to try getting to bank mode through my SZ Browser. However, when I open the browser, it automatically tries to redirect to bank mode, and the whole thing goes haywire. A pop-up window telling me I don't have permission appears. Then another, then another, and so on. I am so flooded with pop-ups I have to restart my computer. It's as if the program is corrupt.
I tried to update Avast program, but it tells me I already have the latest. Restart, malware, and virus scan offers no help.
Anybody else experiencing this?
