Can't restore false positive virus

Every time I try to restore it gives me the error "file can't be restored"
This is very annoying as I now have to uninstall the program and reinstall it for it to run again.

Is this related to this post https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=219122.0 ?
If so that one needs to be in the Viruses and worms sub-forum as in Reply #1 of that topic.

If not directly related, then this isn't an issue here, in a way it is program related if you can't restore from the virus chest.

What Avast program version do you have installed ?
Avast 18.4.2338 is the latest version as there were some updates related to the virus chest.

Doing a test on the Eicar virus check file - I tried Restore As...  (unfortunately I can't see any more of that option) I got the Whoops, error occurred.

I then tried the Restore and that worked just fine, no longer in the virus chest and back in the original location.
