avast! Management Server service will not start

I have a client the did not take my recommendation to put their server on a battery backup and voltage regulator. Last week they had power outages and brownouts and the server took a hit.

It looks like the RAID array got shot among other things.

In trying to get the system stabilized I have been working through the errors. There are several automatic services that will not start at all. One of them is the Management Server.

When trying to manually start the service I get "Error 42000:"

I know this is likely not an avast! issue, but I have racked my brain trying to figure out why services won't start. There are several other MSDE instances installed as well, and they will not start either.

Any ideas on how to get the service started?

Please post the contents of the file <ADNM>\data\log\error.log. Generally, if there's a problem with the service (not starting, crashing etc), this is the place to look first.
