..can only be resolved by the appropriate developer..

Vlk,

I don't know if this is 'privaliged' information. However, I will ask out of interest and you can tell me to bugger off..

Who does what in the A Team (no.. you won't get any sarkie comments from me) ie is Voj like a comms/interface bod etc etc etc?.

Thought it would be interesting for us to know who does what.

Walker,

Not a bad idea, but what about your "mug" being posted.

Nah......The A team may use it on a dart board. ;D

Cojo

You have learned much for an "ole dog".  I am exceptionally proud of you.  You have learned much.  Soon, users will get help from you!  It's how most of us started here.

Bugger off!! :)

No, really I don't wanna be harsh or something but I think this is completely unnecessary. I mean, these things change (obviously) and we're too small a company to have very well defined job for everyone.  But a seasoned forum member can quite easily figure out that e.g. vojtech is the 'Internet Mail' guy, kubecj is the setup/update guy, Pavel and Karel are the virus guys, pavels is the heuristics guy, Roman is the Enhanced UI guy etc etc... But in most cases it's not really necessary to know this - you wouldn't want to bug those people directly, would you...? :)

Something like that; they call it head of development so it's the HEAD I guess (not the HAT :P ;D)

That's just common sense.  Any small operation wants and needs as much "cross-training" as possible to to give them a reasonable amount of flexibility.  That way they can hopefully minimize disruption if someone's sick or away or -- heaven forbid -- leaves.

Wandering slightly O/T, but hopefully still acceptably related ... my last employment before unexpected early retirement was 20 years with a small but successful plastics manufacturer, 3 guys in the plant and 3 in the office.  I was "officially" the accountant-cum-computer expert, but quite often would get out and fill in for the shipper/receiver if he was off sick.  And that's the kind of thing that keeps a small co. going.
