Hello. I have the following problem - a computer, that has Windows XP, but doesn't have any network connection. I have to put some antivirus software and to be able to update it offline.
So far I've tried avast version 5 through 8 but they all want a registration, which I can't do since there is no internet connection. One of these offered offline registration, but when I open the link on another computer, it says that I don't need registration anymore. Great, but the setup files don't know that and after 30 days the installation says I need to register. Is there anything I can do about it, or I must look at another antivirus software? Thanks!
