exclude encrypted files
« on: June 06, 2018, 08:52:37 AM »
Hello!

What should I do in the Avast Free Antivirus to prevent from transferring encrypted files (exe from 7zip) to quarantine?

Regards
Theofilos

avast only move infected files to quarantine so why would you exclude that?

what does the avast message say when detecting/moving?

If you password protect 7zip archives then content should not be detected

This will disable all exe files, and I only wanted exe created by 7zip with encrypted content.

My Avast moves to quarantine all encrypted (by 7zip) exe files.
They are not infected.
Avast shows the scan window first.
Then shows the unpacking window.
Then the windows disappear and the file goes to quarantine.

DS#FinalAlBlago  seems like a file name and not the detection (malware) name given by avast

post/attach a screenshot from avast chest

My mistake. It should be "DS#FinalAlBlalgo".
Here is a screenshot
I found only one page autoimmune reaction about it.
