problems with rescue disk
« on: June 09, 2018, 01:13:54 PM »
I created a rescue disk on USB to remove virus's found during a diagnostic run at a computer service which was doing a memory upgrade.  The Advast disk found several virus's but could not fix them.  It told me that I needed to reboot my computer.  The tool evidently installed or changed something on the computer.  I do not remember my local password.  I haven't logged in locally for years.  Now I can't get back to my Windows 10 login, it keeps trying to take me to the fix tool.  How do I get rid of this new login screen and back to my windows 10 login.
