Pc craches when installing Avast

I just reinstalled win2k om my computer.
When I try to install avast by running the downloaded "setupeng" command,  the computer locks up and I have to restart it.
There is nothing wrong with the download, because on another computer it goes perfect!

Are you saving the file in the disk or running directly from the Internet?
Are you on an account with administration rights?

I saved it on the disk and yes, I have administration rights

So, are you using any other security program that could conflict with avast?
Are you clean of viruses?
If you download the file again, save in your desktop and run it from there, will it work?
