« on: July 02, 2018, 12:14:33 PM »
Hello, so I activated a 30 day free trial for the Avast vpn and upon realizing I cannot do what i wanted with it I cancelled the 'auto-renewal' I just want to make sure that I will not be billed once the trial runs out, is this correct?

Yup, I waited too long. lol
It doesn't do what I wanted either and their ads are very annoying and intrusive. It didn't use to be this way.

Remember to disable the auto-renew feature as many of these kinds of companies renew your subscriptions even though you don't want or use their products.

There are no ads in the VPN. You need to cancel the auto renewal to avoid being charged when it's time to renew.
That's not specific to Avast but any product where you agree to auto renewal.
