Bob, the only thing is that the program isn't listed in the installed programs list so it may have been uninstalled incorrectly or not letting itself be removed due to being scamware, which will then mean either re-installing the software followed by an uninstall and if that fails to remove it then navigating through the Program Files and Program Data to manually strip out all evidence of Advanced System Repair will be required.

Another option is to run the tools and post required logs from the viruses and worms board and wait for one of the malware guys to remove it for her.

I will try what you suggested... then if that is  unsuccessful I will try what Bob suggested-keep you posted
