This has been going on for over 6 months. I am unable to upload things, photos and plugins and things I need as a webdesigner to any of my clients websites. I have to keep disabling Avast. I cannot work like this. I have over 200 WP clients so I do not want to add each website as an exception, what is going on??

Can you give some more details in why you can't upload, e.g. any error messages or alerts by avast, etc. etc. ?

Hi Zee Chen,

Is this issue at the root of your problems maybe: https://blog.ripstech.com/2018/wordpress-file-delete-to-code-execution/

Unpatched security issue known to exist for 7 months now. So avast is not the only one to flag these files.

Check your website(s) at https://hackertarget.com/wordpress-security-scan/

Wait for a comment from an avast team member.
