Avast (Windows) Seems to be causing issues with iCloud
« on: July 05, 2018, 02:49:58 AM »
I've been having a lot of issues with the iCloud for Windows app recently. In trying to track them down, I intended to uninstall and reinstall the software.

When going to the apple site to download the latest installer, Avast terminated the connection.

"We've safely aborted connection on updates-http.cdn.apple.com because it was infected with URL:Mal."

No only can I not download the Apple software now, but I can't help but wonder if it's Avast that's been making Windows iCloud software malfunction. Any help?
