False positives
« on: July 05, 2006, 10:15:27 PM »
A software my company develops and sells is currently setting off your scan as "Win32:Spyware-gen [Trj]."  We do NOT contain any spyware/malware/viruses, and no other virus scanners are producing this false positive.

How should we proceed to fix this problem with your scanner?

Hello :)

Well, you can archive the wrong detected files in password protected archive (usually the password is "virus") and send this archive to virus@avast.com, as mail subject you can write "False Positive" ;)
