Hi Guys,
I'm pretty new here, although I have been using avast for some time now. I do have a problem with CounterFlix adware. For some reason not only the Avast do not help at all with this problem, but is itslef infected as well. Whenever I open Avast or Chrome browser I get pop-up and slide-in type adds, that react to any mouse click I perform in the window. I tried some of the fixes I have found on the web, but for some reason most if not all of them start with finding and removing counterflix from "add or remove programs". Neither the name "Counterflix" or anything else, that would be suspicious exists in there.
I do not have any ideas of how to take this one out and I'm rather surprised, that Avast has no saying here.
Any help?
