Please forgive me if this is already covered. I looked but didn't find.
My elderly father-in-law has Avast Premier on his machine. He is very old and clicks on things he shouldn't. I have shut down most notifications but cannot find out how to remove the Avast advertising that appears at the bottom of the status screen when Avast launches. This is particularly important because he clicks on the 'Resolve' button every time he sees it. Unfortunately this cause much confusion for him, especially when he clicks the Resolve All button that appears on the subsequent screen because that then asks him how many years of Secure Line VPN that he wants to buy. Even when he tries to close the deal window, another window spawns suggesting he takes up the offer for a free trial. Like I said, this is confusing for him and causes him some angst, which of course, I want to avoid.
I apologize if the answer to this simple question is floating around somewhere. I really want to remove the advertising. Thanks in anticipation
