Add bookmarks
« on: July 13, 2018, 03:15:22 PM »
Today is my first day with this Avast browser, having migrated from Firefox.

This is better than Chrome, but I need to ask a question about bookmarks.

I managed to happily import my bookmarks from FF(after having trouble doing so with Chrome).

But I need to hopefully find out how to add a new bookmark without it showing at the bottom of the bookmark list i.e. at the end of it.

How can I make a new bookmark appear at the top of the list?

I know I can click on it, then "drag & drop" it to the top, but I would like to avoid this as my bookmark list is very long - maybe 500 or more currently.

Yes, I know I should organise and sort into folders, but can someone provide my short term solution?

Also, every time I close the bookmark list and then a short time later I want to reopen it, I am taken to the top part of the list.

As I say, I have very many bookmarks and might have been much further down the list.

How can I get to reopen at the place in the list I was before I closed it?.

Thanks.
