This device needs to be authorized

I had a problem where I forgot my master password. So I removed the password application from my phone, then removed the password application from my mac. I reinstalled on my mac and recovered my passwords into a new vault. I now want to sync this new vault and get it setup on my phone, but I'm getting the message that my mac needs to be authorized and I'm lost. I can't locate any email with the subject "Your backup identity" from Avast. What do I do?
