Windows 10 Update Assistant malware

Hi. Please help. I have Avast on my laptop but there is malware that it is not picking up, its a program that pops up on my desktop after restart that's named "Windows 10 Update Assistant" but its not from Microsoft and when I first thought it was it "updated" and on restart the whole sys crashed.
