I opened 2 pdf files from a scammer.

(1/2) > >>

REDACTED:
I'm usually very alert about scammers and etc, but this time I felt for it. At first it said it was from apple because I made som purchases today, but it turned out the pdf files had nothing to do with apple.

One of PDF files was blank page, and the other was a notification of my subscription ending from a site Im not even subscribed to...I'm an idiot...

I have Avast Premier. So I want to know, is my computer compromised?

Here's a picture of the mail in it's entirety:

I'm guessing because I didn't click on the link in the PDF file, and typed in my Email and password. I'm safe, right?

Sass Drake:
Upload those DF files to:
https://www.virustotal.com/

and post result.

Thanks, I just did it and it turns out they're both clean:

Sass Drake:
Those PDF files have not been scanned. File paths are scanned and they are clean as URL by default.
Have you used Edge to upload them to VirusTotal? If answer is yes, try to upload PDF fiels to VirusTotal using other browser.

REDACTED:
I used Chrome first, then I did it on Edge and got them same results.

Or do you want me to save the pdf files to my computer and upload them that way?
