Off topic/Avira/resolved

Around a year ago I installed Avira. Didn't keep it because I didn't like it.

For the past few days it has been installing by it's self.  I used the Avira removal tool several times but that didn't help.

Anyone know how to keep it from installing by it's self?

Never used it, but this isn't just off-topic, its way off topic.

There is a sub-forum Non-Avast security products, that is more appropriate.

But I feel asking the same question of google or in the Avira support forum.
