new beta version 18.6.3060 (build 18.6.3942) is released.
What's new- New Do Not Disturb mode. Enjoy full-screen apps without interruptions.
- New Performance scanning engine showing more appropriate and up-to-date results.
- New UI for subscriptions management under "My AVG/My Subscription"
- Switch to the new licensing backend
What was fixed- Several application crashes (found internally as well as from BETA program and public channel)
- Firewall toaster not displayed when network changed
- Not started User Interface after the installation
- Empty (white) User Interface main dashboard (not loaded content)
- Problems with executing games like WoW, Overwatch, etc.
- Detection dialog not displayed for WebShield component when set to Ask
Known issues- Do Not Disturb mode detailed rule settings not available. Default mode only.
- Do Not Disturb mode could cause problems in Firefox browser when entering fullscreen mode. - only when Firefox is added as DND app
- Do Not Disturb mode does not correctly block 3rd party notifications in certain web presentation apps
- Edition upgrade AVG Free -> Internet Security does not work via "Unlock all features for 30 days" from UI
- Not all of our products support new subscription UI yet, so subscriptions might be visible only in "other section" with the button "activate & install" even when installed and activated
- Not all types of activation codes are fully supported (like old AVG sales numbers)
- Automatic activation after purchase might not work
- After migration to the new backend server, the user will be logged out (technical limitation)
- Social logins are not implemented yet (hidden for now)
