I have been using Avast since the 1990s because you have been the most honest and best Anti-virus on the market and offered the best free Anti-virus that did not deliberately do sneaky things to force customers to buy your stuff (i.e.) add virus' that can only be removed if you buy your paid version. I have NEVER had any issues with you until now, since you paired up with Norton, and I was afraid of this happening. I had downloaded a free trial of your new premium antivirus a while back and cancelled it and returned to the free version. Now, I keep getting "Threat Detected" Alerts for things that are not a threat, like using my phone to log into my stuff on my laptop. And when I go to change the settings in my anti-virus, it tells me I have the wrong password. I go to change the password, it brings me to your webpage in my browser and I change my password. I go back to my antivirus and it still says wrong password. It has the wrong license in it too. I go put the license I have on the browser version of my Avast account, and it refuses to change it. I cannot do anything without Avast giving me false flag threat detections. What is going on? Have you turned into a cheesebag Antivirus program that adds virus crap to force the purchase? That would be a shame, because I have probably gotten you thousands of customers over the years, and it would be such a disappointment. I told everyone you were the best ever and never forced that on people like Norton and McAfee did.
