Can't Disable Behavior Shield
« on: July 29, 2018, 05:10:51 PM »
I want to disable Behavior Shield and it says "access denied". I'm running as administrator. Why is it doing this and how do I shut it off? I'm about to cancel my yearly sub and uninstall Avast because of this, I want the Behavior Shield OFF.

How are you trying to disable it ?

If you are trying to disable the aswidsagent.exe in the task manager, you would have to first disable the avast self-defence module and that would be only temporary.

Can you not disable or uninstal the Component in the UI settings, see attached image.
