Detection
« on: August 05, 2018, 08:38:32 PM »
While defragging with Auslogics free Avast blocked two connections,www.rayjump.com and uxe5535652.com. I am using Avast Free on Windows 10 Home 1803.What Avast logs should I check? Could be a false detection.

Yes they do but all I was doing was defragging. I was not using any web browser and have never been on the sites in the screen shot.

That does not mean the defrag software was not "dialling home".  No browser needed.

I've never been comfortable with Auslogics software, personally.

Edit: re-reading my previous post, perhaps "bundling unwanted (= unasked-for) software" may be more accurate than "malicious".

I was thinking the same thing. I do have Wireshark installed, maybe I will run it next time I defrag or try it in the Vm.
