Master Password Issues
« on: August 10, 2018, 10:45:50 PM »
Initially when I had created my master password a year or more ago, I thought Oh Ya I can remember that... wrong.  But everything was working fine on my desktop and my laptop until something changed in Avast Password here it locked itself and wouldn't or couldn't update passwords.  At first it was just on my desktop.  So I decide to start over.  And clear it out and start with a new master password.  I saved it in a safe place this time.  So I went ahead and also installed the onetouch function so that I could use my phone to unlock it.  But then my laptop Avast Password, locked itself.  I tried using the new Master password to unlock it... No joy, so then I tried to dump all my passwords on my laptop and create a new master password.  It just won't do it.  When I check my account settings on line, it didn't even see the laptop.  What is my next step from here?

Oh and by the way your verification process is pretty much unreadable

Not sure what happened but now it works.  I didn't try a the new Master Password I had made for the desktop.  But FINALLY I was able to reset and start over on my Laptop.  Whatever issue was there has either self-corrected or some Avast update has fixed it.  Oh I might note that Windows just did an update, so maybe it was just a Windows 10 issue.

So for now we can consider this one resolved.
