ERDNT.LOC

For some time random web pages have been opening, probably because of ERDNT.LOC. This program/virus/??? gets quarantined by Avast every other hour and I delete it from the virus container, but it comes back time and time again.

Somebody using AVG had the same problem https://support.avg.com/answers?id=9060N000000g7eFQAQ, but this article didn't help me.

Are there known solutions (other than reinstalling windows)?

Sorry, I assumed this was the German forum because all the UI was in German... slight misdesign  ;D
